Although I have chalked a message by the bridge pontoon there might just be other members who would like the idea of crewing to, say, Loddon whilst their boats are in the compound.
The plan is to go out by the 0700 bridge and take the last of the ebb to Gorleston and the flood up the Yare.
I have checked with the Broads Authority, Surlingham Ferry pub and The Hardley Mill Trust – 240v posts should all be available.
I shall be in contact with Reedham Swing Bridge to make sure there will not be an embargo to its opening in January.
Broads Authority licence for 7 days:
L.W. Gorleston and feasible Yarmouth bridge opening times towards the end of that week would suit the return trip.
Of course the weather could well prevent the trip taking place just as it does sometimes during the summer.
I am happy to organise the bridges, moorings at pub, mill or Loddon and the Broads Authority Licences.
If so I need to know the number of boats by Wednesday 9th
