Visitor Moorings

Welcome to the Lowestoft Cruising Club.
We hope that you enjoy your stay with us.
Please note, we are now allowing visitors on a restricted basis due to the ongoing Covid-19 problem.
These being:

  • A maximum of three night’s stay, unless press of weather or major emergency
  • No boats that have come from abroad can stay as we cannot accommodate the required two week isolation period
  • The showers will remain closed, though one toilet in the main block may be used.
  • Comprehensive contact details would be recorded to facilitate the “Test and Trace” requirement.

Inside the cabinet situated within the Gatehouse at the top of the bridge, there are ‘Visitor Packs’ with information you may find useful about the Club and the local area as well as a key access card which opens the Gatehouse, shower and toilet block and the compound. Please do not use the showers as these cannot be cleaned fully and therefore must remain closed.

Before you leave, we would be grateful if you would complete the slip and enclose it, together with your payment and the access card, in the envelope provided.
Please post it in the payment slot in the cabinet situated in the Gatehouse at the top of the bridge where you picked up this pack.

While staying on our visitor berths you are considered a “Visitor Member” of our club which permits you to use water, electricity and car parking.

If you need any assistance feel free to ask any member who will be pleased to help or contact Peter Hytch, the Mooring Officer on 07810 522515
